Caffè Giovannacci's Bordeaux Blend is composed of five different green coffees, elegantly woven together. The 80% Arabica beans come from Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Ethiopia, while the perfectly integrated Robusta beans are from India. As always with Giovannacci, the green coffees are individually roasted before being blended to create the final blend. Equally enjoyable as a proper espresso or a long coffee.

What impressed us? The mastery of roasting each bean, rather mid-roast, plus that sublime aroma reminiscent of amaretto-type biscuits or the famous cantuccini!

From the moment you open the burgundy bag, it's a sensory experience. You'll first be captivated by the intense and comforting aroma that emanates from it. Then, upon observing the beans, their wonderfully uniform appearance testifies to the quality of the individual roasting.

But how does Giovannacci's premium Bar Bordeaux blend turn out in the cup? Spectacularly. The hazelnut crema is beautifully marbled, hinting at an exceptional taste. From the first sip, balanced notes and a refined sweetness are revealed. Subtle hints of robusta complete the blend – such a pleasantly full-bodied presence cannot be achieved with arabicas alone. The almost endless aftertaste is remarkably pure, complex, and consistently harmonious.
