Water tank + XL grain tank
The Melitta Avanza has a large removable water tank with a capacity of 1.5 litres and a large 250gr bean container.
Aroma extraction system
For maximum tasting pleasure, the Avanza offers a pre-infusion function: The ground coffee is moistened with water before the actual preparation to release the full aroma of your coffee. The entire preparation unit can easily be removed for optimal cleaning.
Individual coffee preparation
Uncompromising tasting pleasure: Choose the intensity and temperature of your coffee. Simply turn the knob to program the amount of coffee according to the capacity of your favorite cup.
2 cup mode
Serve two cups of freshly brewed coffee at the same time.
Height-adjustable pouring spout
The spout is height adjustable up to 135mm for one or two cups, mugs or Latte macchiato glasses.
Removable extraction chamber
The extraction chamber is convenient and easy to remove and clean. This makes it easy to clean the inside of the machine.
Easy Clean & Descaling
The machine automatically indicates on the display when cleaning or descaling is necessary. The cleaning or descaling programs are easily accessible via the menu.
