Where do the coffees in this blend come from?

The Sant'Eustachio blend brings together Arabica from several producing countries, bought directly from small cooperatives:

• Brazil, Sul de Minas region (naturally sun-dried)
• St Helena island, in the middle of the South Atlantic
• Dominican Republic
• Galápagos Islands (Bourbon variety)
• Guatemala, Chajul region
• Ethiopia, Sidamo region

The exact composition may vary slightly from one harvest to the next, as the roaster selects the best coffees each season.

Sant'Eustachio il Caffè, a Roman legend

The building on Piazza Sant'Eustachio already housed a « Caffè e Latte » around 1800. In 1938 the wood-fire roastery Sant'Eustachio il Caffè was born there; today it is one of Rome's best-known coffee bars, run since 1999 by the Ricci brothers. Its logo, a deer with a cross between its antlers, recalls the legend of Saint Eustace, who gave the square its name.
